Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Project Manager to oversee custom fabrication projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for fabrication projects, coordinating with Production, Creative, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position requires balancing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors. This company specializes in design, technical production, and immersive brand environments for live events and marketing activations located in Anaheim, CA.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage multiple fabrication projects from kickoff through installation.
Coordinate schedules, production timelines, and project milestones.
Lead project kickoff meetings, engineering meetings, and production updates.
Prepare project estimates and budgets for approval.
Monitor project costs, profitability, and production capacity.
Collaborate with production, fabrication, creative, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Source materials and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Purchase materials, tools, equipment, and rental items as needed.
Conduct quality control inspections throughout production.
Track production progress and prepare project reports.
Resolve production issues and adjust schedules as needed.
Support onsite installations and travel to project sites when required.
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of fabrication, manufacturing, event production, or project management experience.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid California Driver's License required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with custom fabrication, trade shows, entertainment, or scenic production.
Knowledge of production planning and quality control.
Vendor management and purchasing experience.
Ability to interpret technical drawings or CAD files is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
