Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
  • Experience in pipe fabrication is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, contracts, and governmental regulations.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude including geometry, ratios, percentages, and practical field applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Experience with Acorn/Spoolfab software preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial job site safety practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the smooth and efficient execution of assigned customer projects, crews, and resources.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quoted specifications.
  • Oversee scheduling of materials, equipment, subcontractors, outsourcing, and trucking to meet customer due dates.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers, providing project updates and coordinating inspections.
  • Supervise assigned work crews and authorize departmental schedule changes as needed.
  • Manage project invoicing and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure compliance with customer specifications, applicable codes, and company QA standards.
  • Review estimates, contracts, drawings, and purchase orders to ensure alignment and project readiness.
  • Manage project profit & loss statements and departmental budgets.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through proactive communication and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety initiatives and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in company improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies and standardization.
