TradeWorX is hiring an experienced Shop Floor Foreman for a heavy fabrication facility in the Pittsburgh area. This is a full-time, first shift opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong fabrication knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to manage multiple crews and projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay & Schedule
  • $30.00–$32.00/hour starting pay depending on experience
  • Monday–Friday
  • First Shift
  • 40-hour work weeks

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily shop floor operations and production schedules
  • Lead fabrication crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications
  • Manage multiple fabrication projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assign work, monitor production progress, and provide employee guidance
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain safe work practices
  • Coordinate with management and project teams to resolve production issues
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Assist with training and development of fabrication personnel

Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of heavy fabrication or structural steel manufacturing experience
  • Previous foreman or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong blueprint reading and fabrication layout skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple employees and projects effectively
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of fabrication shop equipment, welding, and production processes
