TradeWorX is hiring an experienced Shop Floor Foreman for a heavy fabrication facility in the Pittsburgh area. This is a full-time, first shift opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong fabrication knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to manage multiple crews and projects in a fast-paced production environment.

$30.00–$32.00/hour starting pay depending on experience
Monday–Friday
First Shift
40-hour work weeks
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily shop floor operations and production schedules
Lead fabrication crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications
Manage multiple fabrication projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met
Assign work, monitor production progress, and provide employee guidance
Enforce safety standards and maintain safe work practices
Coordinate with management and project teams to resolve production issues
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Assist with training and development of fabrication personnel
Qualifications
5–7 years of heavy fabrication or structural steel manufacturing experience
Previous foreman or leadership experience preferred
Strong blueprint reading and fabrication layout skills required
Ability to manage multiple employees and projects effectively
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of fabrication shop equipment, welding, and production processes
Requirements

Ability to work safely in a fabrication shop environment
Must follow company safety standards and procedures
