About the Role: Job Store Staffing is hiring a Fabrication Technician I for a local manufacturing facility in Boulder! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, attention to detail, and learning new skills in a high-tech production environment.
As a Fabrication Technician, you’ll work with a team to produce precision optical components following detailed specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform optical fabrication processes including beveling, blocking, edging, milling, sawing, and grinding.
Operate equipment to shape and finish components within tight tolerances (up to .001”).
Inspect and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and microscopes.
Assist with general production tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Strong attention to detail and math skills.
Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
