SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Technician Level 1 to join our team. This role focuses on secondary operations within the fabrication process, including frame assembly, grinding, deburring, operating various machines, and handling fabricated parts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform frame assembly, ensuring precision and quality. • Conduct grinding and deburring operations to prepare parts for further processing. • Operate machines such as PEM Serter spot welder and drill press. • Sort laser-cut metal parts and handle fabricated materials. • Assist in powder painting operations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

SAFETY & MAINTENANCE Follow all safety procedures and proper use of PPE. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S principles. Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in a fabrication environment. Experience in frame assembly, PEM insertion, spot-welding operations, and with sorting laser-cut metal and handling fabricated parts. Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery such as PEM Serter spot welder and drill press. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly. Standing, bending, and manual dexterity for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Mechanical aptitude. Problem-solving skills. Reliability and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must speak, read, and write English proficiently. Familiarity with powder painting processes is a plus. Ability to drive a forklift is a plus.

TOTAL REWARDS The starting compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.
