Position: Fabrication Technician
Location: Riverside, MO
Pay Rate: $28.00/HR

What You’ll Do:  The Fabrication Technician works independently or with other team members to build, assemble, and/or repair products or components for technology deployments across a wide array of fleet and facility-based projects and customers. As well as the below essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Use standard and specialized equipment to fabricate components and/or finished product.
  • Modify and/or assemble parts to support internal or external customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and fabrication equipment.
  • Assist with general facility related maintenance activities as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and install 12-volt electronic systems (telematics) in fleet vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Experience working with both standard and specialized equipment, including but not limited to:  Table Saw, Drill, Grinder, Welding equipment, Plasma Cutter, and Metal Brake
  • Follow OSHA and internal safety guidelines
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with high quality focus
  • Able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
  • Flexible to changing requirements and/or job duties
  • Able to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Prioritize organization & general workspace housekeeping
  • Proven demonstration of the values of Integrity, Respect, Hard Work, and Safety First
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Able to bend, kneel, climb, crouch, reach overhead, grasp, push, and pull
  • Able to work in environments with varying temperatures
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in welding, soldering, and/or metal operations
  • Completion of a technical training program
  • Experience or training in electrical and/or mechanical, fleet or facility focused
  • Forklift Certification
