Job Title: Welder / Fabricator

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: 32-36/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Set up and perform TIG and MIG welding on various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, and steel based on blueprints and real-time adjustments.
• Plan welding sequences, fixtures, and setups to ensure high-quality welds while maintaining part geometry.
• Fabricate and assemble components by layout, positioning, aligning, and fitting metal parts using jigs, fixtures, and hand tools.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment and other shop machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and sheet metal bending systems.
• Perform precision inspections using tools like calipers and micrometers to verify workpiece specifications and ensure quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience with TIG, MIG, and spot welding techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
• Proficiency in operating shop machinery and hand tools.
• Strong mathematical skills, including understanding of fractions and decimals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or military training preferred.
