HiFyve is hiring a Fabrication Welder II in the Manufacturing industry in Ocala, FL!


Salary: $23-$27/hr

Shift: M-F: 7am-3:30pm

Location: Ocala, FL

About the Role

This role is responsible for fabricating, welding, cutting, and repairing metal components and equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment.


Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and/or other welding processes as required

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Plan work procedures and gather necessary tools and materials for assigned jobs

• Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and equipment using welding and cutting techniques

• Prepare, assemble, fit, and tack weld parts prior to final welding

• Monitor welding operations to prevent warping, distortion, shrinkage, or material damage

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and conformance to specifications

• Maintain welding equipment and notify leadership of equipment or material issues

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

• Support additional fabrication and production activities as assigned


Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Valid driver's license required

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required

• Ability to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

• Strong understanding of welding equipment, tools, and fabrication processes

• Basic math skills related to measurements and fabrication work

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

• Computer skills and ability to use basic software applications preferred

• Willingness to work overtime as needed


Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the shift

• Ability to perform precision work requiring manual dexterity and close visual inspection

• Ability to work around welding equipment, moving machinery, and manufacturing environments

• Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position
