Fabrication Worker / Yardhand

Opelousas area building materials company is currently seeking several fabrication workers cut materials for structures / kits. Fabrication workers need previous experience operating miter saws, chop saws, circular saws, drill presses, sawzalls, radial arm saws, and other various stationary saws to cut through treated and fiberglass materials. Must have good measurement skills. Outside of production, workers may be asked to assist in some yardhand duties, including stocking, receiving materials, inventory, and other general yard duties. Ideal candidate will be detailed, comfortable with working partially in the elements, and able to work well with others as workers in these positions often work as a team to get work done. Lifting, stooping, and bending involved with this position. Steel toes and other PPE required for the position. 

$13/hr

Full-time, long term position

Daytime hours, 7am - 3:30pm (Mon  - Fri)

Opportunity for overtime

• This position requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. 
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
