Essential job functions:
- Read & interpret blue prints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
- Metal fabrication of ACM which is a lightweight, three layer aluminum composite material made by bonding two pre-finished aluminum sheets to a polyethylene core.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment to include drills, saws, and a pop-rivet gun.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is definitely preferable
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shop
- Lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
- Knowledge of industrial adhesive use is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Prior fabrication experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
- Read and speak English
Physical Demands:
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time
- May involve some repetitive motions
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Will also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
- Others as deemed required by company to be safe for your role
Experience Required:
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
