Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Ventura County, CA

Pay: $19–$20/hour

Job Summary

• Fabricate, align, fit, and assemble metal components and structures
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools to cut, bend, form, and assemble metal products
• Work from blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure quality and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect completed products to verify specifications
• Position, align, fit, and assemble metal parts and components
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, grinders, plasma cutters, presses, lathes, and drill presses
• Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and tack welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
• Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and welding equipment during fabrication processes
• Move materials and finished products using forklifts, cranes, or hoists
• Shape, straighten, and finish metal parts to required specifications
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of fabrication or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to set up and operate fabrication machinery
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic math and measuring skills required
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
