Fabricator

Nesco Resource is searching for fabricators to join the fabrication team with one of our long-term clients in the Clarkston area that manufactures specialized equipment using pre-engineered aluminum profiles and industrial controls and components. This shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime sometimes on Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Use various tools and machinery to cut, shape, and prepare metal parts
• inspect work for accuracy and quality, ensuring that finished products meet specified standards
• Using measuring tools to accurately mark and measure metal pieces before cutting and shaping. 
• Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workplace. 

• Ability to interpret blueprints and great attention to detail
• Experience using hand and power tools (jigsaws, hole saws, hand drills, etc.)
• Mill or drill press experience preferred
• Reliable, good work ethic and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read a metric tape measure
• Team player, willing to help with various areas of the business as needed
