️ What You'll Do
As a Fabricator, you'll play a key role in creating structural metal components and assemblies. Your day-to-day will include:
- Reading layouts and planning fabrication steps
- Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping metal materials
- Operating fabrication equipment such as:
- Press brakes
- Shears
- Rolls
- Drill presses
- Flame cutters
- Grinding, bending, fitting, and aligning metal parts
- Welding components together to complete assemblies
- Building templates and fixtures for precision work
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Working with sheet metal and structural components
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED OR
- 1–3 months of fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
- Ability to read instructions, blueprints, or shop drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality
Physical & Work Environment
- Regular standing and physical activity
- Frequent lifting (up to 100 lbs with assistance when needed)
- Manufacturing environment with active machinery
