Position Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining fixtures, building guards, and other safety-related equipment. This role requires precision fabrication skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The fabricator will interpret technical drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for tool room fixtures, building guards, and safety equipment
  • Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble components (Plastics, steel, aluminum, etc.) to exact specifications
  • Fabricate and install building and manufacturing fixtures and other safety-related items
  • Maintain and repair existing fixtures, guards, and equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with 6S/5S workplace standards
  • Document work performed and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as needed including maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical training in metal fabrication, welding or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Certified Welder (AWS, CW etc) or other relevant certifications preferred not required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years in a related field.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in operating Lathes and Bridgeport and familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work with precision measuring tools and tool room equipment
  • Physical stamina, good dexterity, and color vision for safety-related work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $23.4/hr to $40.1/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
