As a Fabricator/ Installer, you will assist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom polycarbonate shielding systems for heavy equipment. This position combines shop work with field installations and offers hands-on training in fabrication, equipment modifications, and customer service.
No prior fabrication experience is required. We are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
This position requires overnight travel and out-of-town assignments. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to customer job sites throughout the region for installations and field service work.
What You'll Do:
Fabricate and assemble custom polycarbonate shielding systems
Package shields for shipping and raw material receiving
Organization of material as we receive them
Measure, cut, drill, and fit polycarbonate materials to project specifications
Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
Assist with installing shielding systems on heavy equipment
Read and follow work orders, drawings, and installation instructions
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet Equipment Armor standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
Travel to customer sites for installations and service projects
Work closely with experienced fabricators and installers to learn industry best practices
Qualifications:

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be willing and able to travel, including overnight stays and out-of-town work assignments
High school diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, installation, or fabrication environments
Previous experience in wood working is a plus
Experience using measuring tools and power equipment
Experience working around heavy equipment
