Position Title: Fabricator-L1Position Location: Middlesex NJPosition Classification: Full Time (40 Hours/week) MON-FRI 7AM-3:45PMExemption Status: ExemptCompensation: $19/HOURRole Summary / PurposeStaff Right Solutions is seeking Fabricators for our client located in Middlesex, NJ to perform general warehouse duties and be able to perform the 5 steps required to build a typical panel. The candidate will be willing to learn and understand our fabrication processes and practices, take direction from line leaders and supervisors, and keep up with the workflow in their designated area. All Fabricators are responsible for keeping a clean and safe work environment, assisting others when needed and comply with all safety procedures.This position will functionally report to the Line Leader 1 and work primary in a group fabrication setting.Essential Responsibilities:- General warehouse duties such as lifting
- Learn how to read a cut sheet/drawings to build a panel efficiently
- Learn and follow 5S Manufacturing for Performance Standards
- Learn and follow all Health and Safety practices
- Shop clean-up at the end of each day
- Use tools to build a typical panel
- Maintain a good workflow
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Assist other Fabricator 1’s when needed
- Learn to properly use company tools and basic machinery
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
- Follow and comply with all safety procedures
- Perform the (5) steps required to make a typical panel
- Special tasks as requested/ required / as assigned
Basic Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Workers are required to be on time for every assigned shift.
- Experience in receiving and implementing on directives and feedback from supervisors and other company personnel.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry (with assistance) 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand 8-hour workday.
- Must be able to physically bend, reach, and walk regularly.
- Must be able to wear safety for the entirety of the workday.
- Ability to participate in all physical labour and physical tasks assigned.
