Responsibilities:
- Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision.
- Ensure proper part identification and/or record serial numbers for plastics and windows manufactured with assistance.
- Assist with first piece inspection and completion of work orders.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with basic measuring devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Ability to learn and apply measurements, torque, and adhesive applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing fabrication tasks.
- Ability to walk, bend, reach, and stoop as needed throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to approximately 25–35 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components, tools, adhesives, and measuring devices.
- Ability to visually inspect parts and read detailed technical drawings and work orders.
- Ability to safely operate basic fabrication tools and equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, as required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, or chemicals consistent with plastics and window fabrication.
