Fabricator: Rockford, Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Fabricators to work fulltime on 1st shift. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, welding, and assembling metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Fabricator:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, grind, and assemble steel materials to specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and press brakes.
- Perform MIG welding, tack welding, and fitting as needed.
- Use precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Load, unload, and move steel materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Assist team members and other departments as needed.
Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous fabrication or welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Pay for Fabricator: $20.00–$28.00/hour.
