Monday-Friday Day Shift - 6:00am-4:00pm or Night Shift 4:00pm-2:00am; availability for weekends as needed

Pay Rate: $21 per hour, W2

• Location: The Woodlands, TX
• Duration: 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum manufacturing of PDC (diamond) drill bits including fabrication, finishing, and inspection.
• Receive applicable bit drawings and conclude with the final inspection of the completed product.
• Engage in manufacturing sub-processes including CNC Machining, Welding, Brazing, Plotting, Grinding, Final clean-up, Quality inspection, Painting, Furnacing, and General repair/rework operations.
• Learn and master more than one sub-process and transfer to operational areas as workflow demands.
• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot PDC bit drawings and schematics, making necessary adjustments per process specifications and build guidelines.
• Read and comply with material build lists generated as per customer requirements.
• Utilize pneumatic and electric hand tools extensively; be proficient with a wide range of power tools.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Manual assembly and/or fabrication experience.
• Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, routers, bill of materials, manufacturing procedures, and manuals.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and conversions between decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read and perform functions to applicable product specifications.
• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work overtime.
