Fabricator / Welder
A local sign manufacturing company is seeking a Fabricator / Welder for their Ypsilanti location.
What you’ll be doing as a Fabricator / Welder
- Fabricating large customized signage
- MIG and Stick Welding - Primarily on aluminum with some steel
- Fabricating using shears, break press, saws, punch press, drill press, tapper
- Prepping the structure for the paint department
- Operating forklifts as needed
What you’ll need to succeed as a Fabricator / Welder
- 4+ years of fabrication experience required
- 4+ years of experience MIG welding on Aluminum required
- Experience reading blueprints
- Must have welding mask, welding gloves and a basic set of tools
- HS diploma or equivalent
Additional information for the Fabricator / Welder
- $24.00 to $27.00 hourly based on experience
- Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
