Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, weld, and repair oilfield equipment
Primary Duties:
- Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances
- Work from drawings, blueprints, verbal instructions, and other
- Flag time worked and write stories
- Clean and maintain welding equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures
- Formal technical training degree, certificate or diploma preferred or equivalent work experience
- Must have experience with fabrication and welding on both metal and aluminum
- Must be able to handle heavy materials manually and with machinery
- Must have general tools to perform minor mechanical duties
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret shop repair order forms, repair manuals, blueprints, and various other technical bulletins
- Ability to use computer keyboard and Windows basics
- Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to outside weather elements
- Ability to work 8 - 10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit on a regular basis with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
