Overview

We’re hiring Fabricators / Welders for our custom metal fabrication shop serving commercial and industrial projects throughout the Nashville region.

This is a fabricator-first role where you’ll read blueprints, lay out parts, fit complex weldments, and perform MIG welding on custom builds. You’ll help lead your production pod by maintaining quality, catching issues before they become problems, and keeping projects moving from layout through final fabrication.

We’re looking for experienced fabricators who enjoy blueprint-driven custom work and take pride in building quality products from the ground up.

Compensation

  • $28–31 / hr starting
  • Unlimited optional overtime available

Hiring on 1st and Weekend Shift

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Layout: Lay out parts accurately from fabrication blueprints.
  • Fitting: Fit and tack assemblies before final welding.
  • MIG Welding: Weld tubing, plate, and structural assemblies.
  • Inspection: Verify dimensions using measuring tools before final completion.
  • Rework: Identify defects early and correct fabrication issues.
  • Grinding: Blend welds to meet finished quality requirements.
  • Rigging: Safely move materials using cranes and forklifts.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three or more years fabrication experience
  • Strong MIG welding experience
  • Read fabrication blueprints and weld symbols
  • Experience laying out and fitting weldments
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience

Preferred

  • TIG welding experience
  • Welding or fabrication technology certification
  • Job shop fabrication experience
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems
  • Experience leading fabrication projects
  • Strong dimensional inspection experience
