Join our mission

At Gardner Denver — Industrial Technology and Services (an Ingersoll Rand business), our mission is to build precision blowers and compressors that keep essential industries moving. Reliability is everything. As a mechatronics technician, you’ll be the reliability engine behind our plant—protecting people and equipment, preventing failures, and restoring flow fast when the unexpected happens.

Your impact

  • Lead rapid response on emergencies and sustain safe facility operations, including life‑safety systems (alarms and fire protection).
  • Own CNC equipment health: install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines plus electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic subsystems.
  • Drive component‑level diagnostics on Fanuc, Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, and similar controllers/drives.
  • Perform major electrical, mechanical, and construction work using schematics/blueprints; create sketches for alterations and circuitry.
  • Build bills of material; initiate purchase requisitions; make confident day‑to‑day decisions that minimize downtime.
  • Document work with clear histories in the work order system; communicate status with internal customers.
  • Collaborate with service vendors and cross‑functional teammates; apply handyman skills across multiple trades.
  • Reassemble machines after service; inspect/test damaged parts; flag defects and advise supervision.
  • Apply lubricants/adhesives per SOPs; replace/repair liners and panels (metal, wood, leather, glass, and more).
  • Use hoists, carts, lifts, fork trucks, and hand trucks to move light to heavy materials safely.
  • Troubleshoot and repair high‑voltage systems up to 480VAC, 3‑phase.
