    Our Culpeper, Virginia facility is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities and Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment and facility operating at peak performance.

    Pay Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

    Summary / Objective

    The Facilities and Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, facility systems, and equipment. This role supports continuous operations by ensuring equipment reliability, facility functionality, safety compliance, and minimal downtime in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

    Essential Functions

    • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment and systems

    • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues

    • Support production operations through maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, lighting, and general building components

    • Perform routine facilities upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and functional work environment

    • Install new machinery, equipment, and electrical components as needed

    • Perform minor building repairs and maintenance, including wall repair, painting, and general facility improvements

    • Communicate equipment and facility status, issues, and repair needs with management and machine operators

    • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs for tracking, reporting, and compliance purposes

    • Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other material handling equipment as required

    • Work across multiple environments, including office areas, shop floor, and production spaces

    • Safely work with industrial machinery, electrical systems, mechanical components, and approved cleaning chemicals

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • Prolonged standing and walking on concrete surfaces

    • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted

    • Pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and working in confined spaces

    • Ability to work at heights greater than 3 feet

    • Exposure to hot, cold, dusty, and noisy manufacturing environments

    Required Education & Experience

    • Prior experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment

    • Experience performing general facility and building maintenance in support of operational needs

    • Proficiency using VOM meters and interpreting wiring diagrams

    • Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and compliance standards

    • Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset

    • Ability to work weekends and occasional overtime as required

    Schedule

    Must be available to work assigned shifts:

    1. 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

    2. 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    3. 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
