Facilities & Process Engineer (Client)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Facilities & Process Engineer to provide day-to-day engineering support for Client process facilities, utilities, and balance-of-plant systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting operational issues, supporting facility reliability and integrity initiatives, coordinating engineering studies, managing Management of Change (MOC) activities, and driving the resolution of technical challenges that impact plant performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, Projects, and third-party engineering contractors to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Client process facilities, utilities, and associated plant systems.
• Troubleshoot operational and process-related issues to maintain safe and reliable operations.
• Support facility reliability, integrity, and operational readiness programs.
• Lead and participate in Management of Change (MOC) activities.
• Coordinate engineering studies and support implementation of recommendations.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve facility and process vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, Projects, and engineering contractors to improve plant performance.
• Track, prioritize, and close technical action items.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree Required: Process Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Plant Engineer, Production Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or similar engineering role.
• Client facility experience or comparable experience supporting operating industrial process facilities within the natural gas, petrochemical, refining, chemical processing, energy, or midstream industries.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting process and operational issues in a plant environment.
• Knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes and engineering change implementation.
• Experience supporting facility reliability, integrity, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Familiarity with utilities, balance-of-plant systems, and plant support systems.
• Experience coordinating engineering studies and implementing technical recommendations.
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve facility or process vulnerabilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and engineering contractors.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
