Position Goal
Supervision of routine maintenance of campus facilities and equipment supervision of safety and security on campus overseeing the physical campus and ensuring a safe environment through security and situationalemergency preparedness assists with maintenance of facility assists with security coverage obtains estimates for outside vendors for Director approval.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance
Manages trains and supervises the facilities and security maintenance technicians.
Ensure the facilities are clean and maintained to the highest level possible.
Serves as the main point of contact between staff visitors and public users on building issues.
Act as a point of contact between the vendors who will work in the building.
Obtain estimates for work performed by outside vendors.
Conducts periodic inspections of facilities to review work in progress and outstanding items.
Develop maintain and modify preventive maintenance actions based on changes in equipment or needs.
Interacts with various departments and campuses to set up for campus events or assist with facility services.
Completes various activity reports and incident reports or other special projects.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service.
Oversee or assist with construction projects as needed at all campuses.
Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for Facilities such as Preventive Maintenance PM schedules and cleaning standards.
Coordinates and supervises major repairs performed by outside vendors.
Perform custodial duties.
Security
Ensure the safety and security of the campus.
Keeps building keys secure.
Monitor behavior of suspicious persons andor vehicles. Notify authorities if needed.
Maintain and complete campus incident reports.
Create Standard Operations Procedures SOPS for Security such as Active Shooter Training Fire Evacuation training etc.
Patrols assigned area including parking areas. Check for suspicious occurrences and enforces parking rules and regulations.
Checks IDs and badges of people entering facility.
Guards property against fire theft vandalism and illegal entry.
Train new employees on security duties assignments and responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.

Building electrical and HVAC maintenance repair and construction methods and requirements.
Estimating practices and current labor and material cost.

Principles and practices of budget preparation and administration.

Ability to
Read and interpret plans and specifications.
Prepare sketches of proposed work.
Perform a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over contractors and direct reports.
Make decisions in accordance with the rules regulations and ordinances governing the organizational unit to which assigned.

Comprehend and make inferences from written material.
