Performs a variety of specialized activities in assigned area of responsibility, which may include: sorting and distributing mail, packages, and deliveries; applying herbicides and pesticides to grounds in order to eradicate weeds and pests; and, performing other related activities. Performing routine and preventative maintenance activities, which may include: identifying problems and implementing routine repairs; repairing and painting interior and exterior walls to maintain facility aesthetics; maintaining and repairing sprinkler systems; maintaining and repairing landscape equipment; and, performing other related activities. Observe campus buildings and properties and communicate problems or situations which need attention to the appropriate individual(s). Operates and maintains a variety of maintenance equipment and tools. Monitors available inventory and notifies appropriate individual(s) when stock levels reach specified levels. Performs a variety of manual labor activities, which may include: gathering materials and equipment; placing materials in proper locations; moving furniture and equipment; assembling furniture; removing snow and ice from walkways; setting up and tearing down items for campus meetings and events; and, performing other related activities. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
