The Facilities Associate is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall presentation of a high-profile law firm environment. This position combines direct facilities support (repairs, installations, office moves) with team coordination, vendor oversight, and interaction with building management and engineering professionals.

Shift: Monday-Friday

Hours: 10am-7pm

Pay: $30

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

·       Perform hands-on facilities tasks including furniture assembly, installations, and minor repairs of plumbing and environmental systems

·       Execute office moves and reconfigurations with minimal disruption

·       Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues

·       Maintain conference rooms and common areas to high standards

Vendor & Building Coordination

·       Coordinate vendors and service providers

·       Manage COIs and compliance

·       Liaise with building management

Client Service & Workplace Experience

·       Deliver high-touch service to attorneys and staff

·       Respond to time-sensitive requests with urgency

·       Maintain confidentiality

Technology

·       Utilize building management portal to track and report support requests

·       Utilize space planning software and floor plans and update as required

·       Understand HVAC terminology and electronic control systems

Qualifications & Experience

·       High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred 

·       5+ years of facilities or office services experience within a multi-story commercial building

·       Experience in law firm or professional services environment preferred

·       Experience with vendor coordination and building management

·       Proficiency with basic maintenance and tools

·       Experience in using Microsoft Office products and applications

·       Team player who can keep a positive attitude, motivate peers, and build relationships

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of any client information

·       Always displays a pleasant and cheerful disposition
