We're looking for a Facilities & Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our headquarters and ensure our facilities remain safe, efficient, secure, and welcoming for employees, customers, and visitors.

The Facilities & Building Manager leads building operations, preventative maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, physical security coordination, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. This Facilities & Building Manager role partners closely with leaders across the organization to deliver exceptional workplace experiences, protect bank assets, and support uninterrupted business operations through proactive facility management.

Facilities Leadership & Operations

  • Manage operations for Celtic headquarters, ensuring building is maintained to high operational and appearance standards.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire protection, and life safety systems.
  • Establish facility performance standards, operational procedures, and service expectations across all locations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and proactively address facility issues, safety concerns, and operational risks.
  • Ensure uninterrupted facility operations while minimizing disruption to banking services.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Negotiate and manage contracts for maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, security, and facility service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with service-level agreements and bank standards.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Approve invoices, manage service expenditures, and monitor departmental budgets.

Compliance, Safety & Security

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, ADA requirements, fire safety standards, and banking security protocols.
  • Partner with Security and Risk Management teams to support physical security initiatives, access control systems, alarm systems, and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Lead workplace safety programs and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting related to inspections, compliance audits, permits, and maintenance activities.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with branch leadership and department managers to address facility needs and operational priorities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, responsiveness, professionalism, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with facilities or property management.
  • Experience managing facilities within a financial institution, corporate office environment, or highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building operations, maintenance systems, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software systems.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar certification preferred.
  • OSHA or workplace safety certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking security and business continuity practices is a plus.
