Facility Coordinator - JLL


What this job involves:

Join JLL as a Facility Coordinator and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our downtown Bellevue facilities. This position is perfect for facilities professionals who excel at coordinating complex building operations and thrive on maintaining the highest standards of facility management. You'll oversee day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and improvements of physical infrastructure-including buildings, equipment, utilities, and grounds-while working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers.

As a Facility Coordinator, you'll be the operational hub of our facility-managing everything from HVAC and electrical systems to space planning and emergency preparedness. Your strong organizational skills and proactive approach will ensure our facilities run safely, efficiently, and sustainably while supporting our organizational goals and creating an exceptional environment for occupants.


What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, security systems, and other critical building functions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors; obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of work while assessing contractor performance
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement comprehensive space allocation plans; coordinate office moves and relocations with minimal disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards; conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and coordinate remedial actions
  • Assist in preparing and managing the facility's operating budget; monitor costs and expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and projects while identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for facility enhancements and optimize space utilization; propose and oversee improvement projects including renovations, expansions, and technology upgrades
  • Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices within the facility; identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend initiatives to reduce environmental impact
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans including evacuation procedures, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans; coordinate drills and training; act as point of contact during emergencies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in facility management, property management, or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software or CMMS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in emergency response planning
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in facility management or related disciplines
  • Experience in managing vendor contracts and service level agreements
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and certification processes (LEED, BREEAM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Experience with space planning and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Work Shift:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility as needed)


Salary/ Comp:

$55,000 - $68,000 annually (paid hourly).

Estimated compensation for this position:



55,000.00 - 68,000.00 USD per year


This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
