Facilities Coordinator

Join our Team as a Facilities Coordinator!

CRI is seeking a dependable, organized, and hand-on Facilities Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, safety, appearance, and daily operation of our facilities.  This position is responsible for ensuring our building and grounds remain safe, functional, and welcoming for the individuals we serve, employees, and visitors.

This role combines facility maintenance, project management, vendor coordination, groundskeeping, and safety compliance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning, building maintenance, and minor repairs as needed.
  • Create and oversee facility project schedules, budgets and resources, including preventative maintenance schedules for our utility systems, building systems, and equipment.
  • Obtain and document quotes/bids and coordinate and oversee outside contractors including plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, roofers, and other vendors.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building, fire, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain fire alarm, security, access control, and other building safety systems while coordinating with MIS department on electronic security systems.
  • Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, snow plowing, salting, and general landscaping.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities coordination, building maintenance, construction, property management or related field.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Experience in coordinating vendors and managing facilities projects.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirement, fire safety practices, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read, write, preform simple math, and an understanding of tools and maintenance procedures.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to effectively interact with CRI staff, consumers, and business associates on a professional and confidential level.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl as necessary.
  • Ability to use a computer.

Schedule

  • Full-time position, generally Monday through Friday.
  • Flexibility is required to respond to facility emergencies or other maintenance needs outside of normal business hours.
