Title: Facilities Coordinator

Location: Long Beach, CA 

Duration: 14-Week Contract 

Shift: Variable Schedule

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to ensure smooth and reliable operation of building systems and critical infrastructure in a 24/7 facility environment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, system reliability, safety compliance, and operational continuity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, steam/boiler, water, compressed air, and mechanical systems

  • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs

  • Monitor facility systems for performance and operational risks

  • Respond to equipment failures and emergency breakdowns

  • Lead troubleshooting and corrective maintenance efforts

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and audit requirements

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers

  • Support capital improvement and facility upgrade projects

  • Assist in equipment installation and infrastructure expansion

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation

  • Work hands-on with technicians when required for issue resolution

  • Promote safety standards and continuous improvement practices

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 5+ years facilities/plant/equipment management experience

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, boiler, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs

  • Vendor and contractor management experience

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Technical certifications or OSHA training preferred
