JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Facilities Director in prioritizing and monitoring progress of facilities projects to ensure operational readiness while remaining within budgetary guidelines.  Prevent or minimize operational disruptions of services.  Coordinate relocation and arrangement of office furnishings.  Assist Facilities Director in administering the inventory of fixed assets.  Apply advanced maintenance skill sets, such as minor electrical, drywall, and construction, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prioritize and monitor work requests until completed.
  • Routine maintenance and repair of premises and fixed assets at all owned and leased facilities, operation of power and non-powered hand tools, and climbing ladders.
  • Complete assembly/disassembly and movement of furniture. Heavy lifting required.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Conduct regular vehicle maintenance inspections of assigned vehicle.
  • Complete statistical summary of monthly productivity.
  • Compile information for the automated Facilities Plan.
  • Maintain records of all fixed asset relocations.
  • Complete minor electrical, carpentry, and drywall/construction repairs.
  • Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required, some college or trade school preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in a repair and maintenance environment (including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) required.
  • Ability to frequently lift 70 pounds required.
  • Ability to drive a heavy vehicle and tow mobile ATMs and/or generators.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and an excellent driving record required.
  • Basic mathematical and record keeping skills required.
  • Knowledge of repair and service for telephone and office equipment (excluding computer related equipment).
  • Computer literate; familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal skills required.
