The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the facilities and IT support of the Mesa facilities and equipment. The Support Coordinator is responsible to schedule appropriate resources (people, equipment, materials) to efficiently repair equipment, implement IT solutions, and ensure proper safety protocols are being followed. The Support Coordinator is responsible to oversee preventative maintenance for the facilities and machinery, as well as trouble shooting and resolving unexpected mechanical and facility maintenance issues, working with Grand Rapids, MI IT to implement hardware and prioritize IT tickets, as well as ensuring the facility is following all EH&S procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prioritizes and resolves maintenance requests received via the Borisch Maintenance Request system.
Establishes the preventative maintenance schedule for production equipment and facilities upkeep.
Oversees, schedules and performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and the facilities per schedule. Preventative maintenance may be performed in-house or by outside resources.
Problem solves and performs unscheduled repairs on production equipment and for building maintenance. When required, selects and schedules cost-effective, qualified vendors to perform repairs.
Selects and manages cost-effective contracts and contractors used for continuous maintenance services, including landscaping, electrical, heating/cooling, etc.
Assist with ergonomic assessments as well as accident and incident reports
Hazardous waste collection and disposition as well as hazardous machinery assessments
Ensures proper use of all safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and eye wash stations
Conduct safety audits and corrective actions as required and assist with regulatory audits as required
Collect data to support Amphenol sustainability reports
Serves and helps manage the Emergency Response Team
Provides information systems orientation to new and existing employees.
Assists the Grand Rapids IT team with prioritizing the Mesa help desk tickets.
Serves as liaison for key vendors for printers, telecommunications and mobile phones.
Organizes and manages IT assets, including: organizing storage space; labeling equipment; installing hardware and; and supporting office and cell moves.
Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated ability to perform simple building and machine repair, including light carpentry, light electrical, light mechanical, etc.
Proficient computer skills to help coordinate IT tickets with the GR IT team as well as setup new computers
Ability to prioritize work and solve problems
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds
