About the Role

Join CBRE as a Facilities Coordinator supporting one of our premier technology clients in Seattle, WA. In this role, you'll help support a Class A office building, playing a key part in delivering an exceptional workplace experience and ensuring day-to-day facility operations run smoothly.

Working closely with Facilities Managers, client stakeholders, vendors, and service providers, you'll coordinate daily activities, support operational initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for building occupants.

As part of CBRE's Facilities Management team, you'll gain exposure to a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your organization, communication, and problem-solving skills will make a direct impact on the success of this high-profile account.

What You'll Do:

  • Regularly monitor the status of open work orders to ensure their timely completion and closure.
  • Dispatch work orders to technicians and vendors.
  • Generate purchase orders within designated software programs.
  • Assist with processing incoming vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy.
  • Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
  • Acknowledge and address all client inquiries related to the site, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Review work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to identify and address site issues.
  • Follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in facilities.
  • Some exposure to finance-related tasks required. Experience with purchase order creation and invoice process preferred.
  • Must be self-sufficient and can work independently. Candidate should also be resourceful and proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using a CMMS required.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities are required.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $30.00 hourly and the maximum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $31.25 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
