As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping Maverik stores operating safely, efficiently, and without interruption across a multi-site region. You'll serve as the central connection point between stores, vendors, technicians, and internal teams-coordinating maintenance, managing work orders, resolving service issues, and ensuring repairs are completed quickly and effectively. Location/Schedule:

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate timely and accurate completion of planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections across multiple retail locations.

  • Resolve service issues by clarifying details, researching options, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems to Facilities Technicians or Managers as needed.

  • Manage work order systems, including vendor assignments, service notes, and store status updates.

  • Communicate proactively with stores, internal departments, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

  • Monitor performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Create and maintain facility documentation, including site inventories, maintenance logs, floor plans, and vendor contracts.

  • Support business processes through budget tracking, invoice processing, and reporting.

You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, preferably in a multi-site or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software (e.g., CMMS).
  • Knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices.
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully with peers and leaders. Adjusts messaging based on audience and listens actively to ensure shared understanding.
  • Takes initiative to meet individual goals and deadlines. Stays focused on priorities and follows through to completion with minimal prompting.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness and responds thoughtfully in interactions. Approaches others with empathy and contributes to a respectful, supportive team environment.
  • Identifies issues and solves routine problems using logical thinking and available resources. Knows when to escalate and seeks input when needed.
  • Delivers high-quality work and responds promptly to customer needs. Builds trust through reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Bonus points if you also bring:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or specialized certifications (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) preferred 34

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $25.50/hr - $27.50/hr + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate''s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
