This is a Full-time, day position. M-F 7am-3pm

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receive, log, and prioritize all incoming service requests and trouble calls related to facilities maintenance and operations.

  2. Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to manage work orders, assign tasks to in-house mechanics.

  3. Dispatch technicians or vendors to address facilities issues, including but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Etc.

  4. Monitor and track the progress of work orders to ensure timely completion and compliance.

  5. Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, work orders, communication logs, and related documents.

  6. Act as a central hub between facilities department and hospital staff; providing updates to facilities requests made by clinical staff.

  7. Assist in maintaining inventory of facility supplies and equipment, coordinating reorders as needed.

  8. Manage and reduce facilities work order back log list.

  9. Responsible for following up with clients on complaints/issues

  10. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School or trade/vocational school graduate preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a dispatch or facilities coordination role.
  • Experience with facilities CMMS software.
  • Understanding of facilities operations and general facilities requests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills are needed.
