Role Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable facilities coordinator to ensure an optimal working environment in our buildings. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular building safety and security inspections, maintaining our building's equipment, and supervising cleaning crews. To ensure success, facilities coordinators should exhibit extensive experience in facility maintenance and the ability to liaise with contractors. A top-notch facilities coordinator should be a maintenance expert who promotes an eAicient and safe environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Managing building and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Responding to urgent maintenance calls.
- Preparing for emergencies by creating building evacuation and other action plans.
- Testing building security systems and promoting safety within the building.
- Managing equipment and supply needs, including furniture, telecommunications, kitchen appliances, oAice equipment and supplies, and climate control.
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers on behalf of senior managers.
- Reporting to the Facilities Manager on a regular basis.
- Supervising cleaning crews and maintenance workers.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in project management, or similar.
- A completed course in facilities management will be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility coordination, project management, or real estate.
- Proficiency in Facilities Management (FM) software, like Drober and UpKeep.
- Extensive experience in building and equipment maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules.
- Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
- In-depth knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols.
- Proficiency in oAice software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- PMP certification.
- Extensive background in the aerospace and defense industry, with direct knowledge of uncrewed aerial systems strongly preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to move throughout office, warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor environments as needed to inspect facilities, equipment, and ongoing work.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access elevated areas when conducting facility inspections or responding to maintenance issues.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to inspect equipment, systems, and workspaces.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
- Ability to visually inspect facilities, equipment, and safety systems, including reading technical documents, work orders, and safety signage.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods.
- Ability to respond to facility emergencies, which may require working outside of normal business hours and navigating various facility environments.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and outdoor weather conditions during facility inspections and maintenance activities.
- Ability to travel between company facilities, vendor locations, and project sites as required.

Salary Range:
$75,000—$90,000 USD
