The Part‐Time Custodial Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in assigned buildings and facilities. This role performs routine cleaning daily. Work is performed independently or as part of a team, following established schedules and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, hallways, offices, and common areas
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and high‐touch surfaces
Empty trash and recycling containers; replace liners and stage waste for pickup
Restock the restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
Perform spot‐cleaning of spills, smudges, and debris throughout the shift
Maintain cleaning equipment and report malfunctioning tools
Secure assigned areas and ensure rooms are left in orderly condition
Identify and report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards)
