Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Facilities Data Analyst is responsible for the governance, analysis, and interpretation of facilities, maintenance, workforce, safety, and financial data to support enterprise operating control and risk management. This role serves as the single source of truth for facilities performance metrics, enabling early detection of execution drift, system instability, financial erosion, workforce risk, and client impact independent of individual sites or leaders.
The Facilities Data Analyst supports weekly operating control, bi-monthly stabilization governance, and monthly enterprise risk reviews through standardized metrics, heatmap scoring, and executive-ready insights

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in analyzing computer systems and technology solutions used in a manufacturing or production environment, preferred
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system, Maximo preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with reporting, databases, and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation and train diverse user groups.

Essential Functions
Data Ownership & Governance
- Own the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of facilities and maintenance data across the CMMS/EAM and integrated enterprise systems.
- Define, document, and standardized metric definitions, thresholds, escalation triggers, and systems of record.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards including asset hierarchies, job plans, failure codes, labor reporting, and cost structures.
- Perform routine data audits, validation checks, and cleansing activities to ensure executive confidence in reported signals.
- Monitor data health indicators (e.g., late entries, incomplete records, invalid codes) and escalate data quality risks.
Operating Control & Heatmap Management
- Develop, maintain, and administer enterprise facilities performance heat maps.
- Apply standardized Green / Yellow / Red scoring logic, including trend-based escalation.
- Ensure consistent application of heatmap logic across all sites, portfolios, and leaders.
- Prevent narrative-driven reporting by enforcing fact-based, metric-led governance outputs.
Analytics, Reporting & Early Warning
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and analytical models related to execution discipline, reliability, workforce stability, safety, supply chain, financial control, and client risk.
- Analyze leading and lagging indicators to identify early signs of operational drift, execution breakdowns, or systemic risk.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on trend analysis and risk concentration.
- Translate complex operational datasets into clear, executive-ready visualizations and summaries.
Develop and manage facilities and maintenance KPI frameworks, including but not limited to:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance compliance
- Schedule adherence and break-in work
- Backlog health and planning effectiveness
- Workforce productivity and attendance stability
- Safety leading indicators and corrective action closure
Business Partnership & Decision Support
- Support structured decision-making by clearly identifying root causes, owners, corrective actions, and due dates.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests related to facilities performance, reliability, and risk.
- Ensure enterprise decisions are driven by standardized data rather than site-level narratives.
Systems, Integration & Continuous Improvement
- Extract, transform, and validate data from CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo preferred) and related enterprise platforms.
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations from a data and reporting perspective.
- Identify opportunities to automate data validation, scoring, and reporting processes.
