We are looking for a qualified individual who would see this role as an opportunity to faithfully serve our students, staff, and families\n \nZone 5\n \nGrades\n \nPre-K\u201312\n \nCategories\n \nAlternative Placement \n \nCustodial \n \nAdditional Information\n \nFacilities Director Job Description\n \nFacility Maintenance & Operations\n\n Repair, maintain, and improve school buildings and grounds, including:\n Electrical systems\n HVAC systems\n Plumbing\n Equipment and fixtures\n Building structures\n Parking lots\n Practice fields\n Track\n Playgrounds\n Landscaping\n \n\n Ensure LCS complies with all applicable safety regulations.\n Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and longevity of equipment and building systems.\n Schedule routine inspections, servicing, and repairs.\n Coordinate and communicate the summer shutdown schedule.\n Ensure proper care and maintenance of school floors.\n Establish maintenance priorities and long-term maintenance plans.\n \nCustomer Service & Communication\n\n Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.\n Communicate clearly regarding maintenance needs and project updates.\n Model Lincoln Christian's values of relationships, excellence, and service while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.\n Foster a team-oriented, problem-solving mindset.\n \nProject Management\n\n Assist the Director of Operations with capital improvement projects by:\n Researching options\n Obtaining bids\n Coordinating subcontractors\n Working with engineers and architects\n \n\n \nInventory & Record Keeping\n\n Maintain systems for:\n Purchasing maintenance supplies\n Tracking routine maintenance\n Maintaining maintenance records\n \n\n Manage maintenance inventory.\n \nEvent & Facility Support\n\n Review the weekly master activities calendar to ensure HVAC and climate controls are properly scheduled for events and reserved spaces.\n \nSnow Removal & Grounds Care\n\n Shovel snow and/or operate snow removal equipment (snow blowers, plows) to clear sidewalks, parking lots, and pathways.\n Apply salt or other de-icing materials to prevent hazardous conditions.\n Monitor weather forecasts and prepare proactively for snow events.\n Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot snow removal equipment, reporting repair needs as necessary.\n \nLeadership & Emergency Preparedness\n\n Train and supervise maintenance staff as applicable.\n Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related emergencies, including:\n Power outages\n Water leaks\n Other facility emergencies\n \n\n Coordinate with appropriate personnel and outside authorities during emergencies.\n \nOther Responsibilities\n\n Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Superintendent.\n \nQualifications\n\n A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated by evidence of spiritual maturity.\n Proven maintenance experience and a servant-hearted attitude.\n Professional training or specialized experience in one or more of the following:\n Electrical\n Plumbing\n Carpentry\n HVAC certification or significant experience is highly preferred.\n \n\n Working knowledge of materials, methods, procedures, tools, and equipment used in:\n Building maintenance\n Mechanical systems\n Plumbing\n Electrical systems\n Groundskeeping\n \n\n Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks.\n Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.\n Computer skills in order to manage email and Google forms.\n Valid Nebraska driver's license.\n* Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).\n \nThe Facilities Director reports to the Director of Operations.\n \nContact Information\n \nLincoln Christian School\n \n5801 S 84th St \n \nLincoln, Nebraska 68516 \n \nhttp://lincolnchristian.org \n \nMatt Huseman\n \n(p) (402) 488-8888 8 \n \nHow to Apply\n \nGo to our website and click HERE to apply.\n\n
