All buildings operate under a triple net lease structure, adding a strategic layer to facilities oversight.

As the primary point of contact for the client, you willlead a team of five, ensuring seamless delivery of facilities management services. This role is based on-site at the client's headquarters, placing you at the center of daily operations and strategic decision-making.

Beyond the campus, you'll provide leadership across a broader portfolio totaling approximately 2 million square feet, driving operational excellence, asset performance, and service delivery. You'll partner closely with Property Managers on maintenance, capital projects, and long-term planning, while also engaging directly with executive and C-suite stakeholders to deliver insights, reporting, and recommendations that align facilities strategy with overall business objectives.

If you're energized by leading complex, high-visibility environments and influencing outcomes at a strategic level, this is an exceptional opportunity to make your mark.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a strategic leader and primary operational authority for the property, applying broad, cross-disciplinary knowledge of facilities management, business drivers, and organizational dynamics to optimize asset performance.

Partner closely with client leadership and key departments to ensure facilities operations align with business needs. Meet regularly with the client management team to address issues, resolve discrepancies, and provide strategic recommendations.

Manage capital projects and oversee operating budget reporting for a single, complex property. Develop forecasts, analyze variances, and implement action plans to improve overall financial performance.

Lead negotiations for contract services, working with vendors and external partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions while aligning diverse interests toward shared goals.

Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex, multi-dimensional operational and organizational challenges by leveraging appropriate internal and external resources.

Provide formal leadership and supervision to facilities staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, and coaching to build a high-performing team.

Direct and coordinate daily team operations by establishing work schedules, assigning responsibilities, cross-training staff, and monitoring workloads and deadlines. Mentor and coach team members to support continuous improvement.

Review client strategic plans and determine appropriate staffing levels to ensure service delivery meets operational expectations and future demands.

Lead by example and consistently model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values. Influence managers and colleagues to take action in support of functional and organizational business plans.

Drive continuous improvement by modernizing and enhancing existing methods, processes, and standards within the facilities management discipline.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-12 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in facilities or related operations. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Facilities Management certification is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams, including executive level oversight of workforce planning, talent acquisition, training, coaching, performance management, and retention.

Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to navigate sensitive, complex, and high-impact discussions; clearly articulate performance expectations; and resolve issues with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.

Proven leadership capability to set strategic objectives, influence outcomes, and drive results with direct impact across multiple departments or functional areas.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and business productivity tools, with the ability to analyze data, develop executive-ready reporting, and present insights to senior stakeholders.

Advanced organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, supported by a strategic, inquisitive mindset and the ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and continuously elevate operational performance.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
