THE JOB:

As a Facilities Dispatcher at The Cosmopolitan, it is your responsibility to provide excellent internal and external Guest Service by using excellent service and communication skills to support the guest, engineers and other departments in their goals.

THE STARTING RATE: $21 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage computerized maintenance management systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team, complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis

• Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task; own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest's satisfaction; answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas

• Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance; anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day; prioritize guest requests/dispatches

• Knowledgeable of Department and Hotel goals; knowledgeable of hotel information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
