The Facilities Division Manager manages the development of strategic and long-term operating plans for the Facilities Management division. They direct the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all Facilities Management programs, including building and grounds maintenance and design, daily facilities upkeep, and security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of NYCM employees and visitors. In addition, they are responsible for the real estate and related expense budgets.
The Facilities Division Manager is responsible for the vision, operations and leadership of the Facilities Division, exhibiting high level leadership skills as outlined in the NYCM Leadership Success Profile (LSP). They manage the succession planning of leadership beneath them, providing guidance, leadership and coaching to supervisors where applicable. They must work collaboratively with executives and division partners to fulfill corporate objectives and strategic plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out the corporate strategic plans (KST), long term goals, and short-term goals.
- Works with the Business Planning Team by providing input for decision making, obtaining and communicating feedback/challenges.
- Communicates why and where we are going and how we are getting there.
- Defines and effects the direction of change (the “where” we are going).
- Sets divisional goals, either themselves, or collaboratively.
- Develops, oversees, and manages divisional budget, business plans, and projects.
- Develops, cultivates, mentors, coaches, and evaluates the Supervisors, and any other direct reports under his/her direction.
- Measured on results expected.
- Promotes and upholds the positive image of our corporate values.
- Actively participates in and promotes collaboration across teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in field(s) applicable to Division/Business Unit management OR 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams. Experience in the applicable Division/Business Unit field preferred.
Division Managers are required to have completed NYCM’s internal leadership development program (LDP). External hires must complete required leadership programs, Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ), Employee Enrichment Journey (EEJ2), and the Leadership Development Program (LDP).
- Continuing education as outlined by Executive Management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams.
- 3+ years’ experience and knowledge as a Supervisor or commensurate experience in applicable field is preferred.

Market Range: L3 / 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $103,978 - $155,967 (*Based on experience)
