What you’ll tackle
Install electrical infrastructure for new construction and line changes.
Troubleshoot power, lighting, and control issues; determine root cause of distribution equipment failures.
Modify, expand, and modernize existing electrical systems and related components.
Repair equipment, conduit, and conductors; perform minor equipment maintenance and required documentation.
Operate shop tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.) and verify work meets specs.
Follow shop drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, sketches, work orders, and verbal direction.
Report faulty machines or defective materials to your supervisor immediately.
Work safely at all times; uphold Ashley’s Core and Growth Values; maintain clean, orderly work areas.
What you bring
Required qualifications
Active journeyman or master electrician license (state-issued).
3–5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience covering power distribution, motor controls, and lighting.
Proven ability to work safely on 120V through 480V systems.
Strong blueprint literacy: schematics, wiring diagrams, one-lines, and control logic.
Preferred qualifications
Hands-on exposure to PLCs, VFDs, and building management systems.
Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or large facility operations (including conveyors and production equipment).
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
