Position Overview:
As the Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting; repairing all facility equipment; coordinating new installations in accordance with NEC, company, and manufacturer standards; overseeing contractors; electrical projects; assisting others with repairs; being on call; responding to facility emergencies during unscheduled hours; and perform other functions as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Performing hands-on repair and maintenance of electrical work for all facility-related items.Maintaining and troubleshooting power distribution panels, warehouse/facility equipment etcDiagnosing and repairing electrical failures in charging stations, HVAC systems and emergency power systemsConducting preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standardsIdentifying and resolving electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime withing the distribution centerUsing tools, schematics and blue prints to trace faults in electrical circuits and control systemsEnsuring all electrical work follows OSHA, NEC, NFPA and local building codes/regulationsMaintaining detailed records for inspections, repairs and equipment upgradesInspecting and testing back up generators, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting to ensure complianceAssisting in new electrical installations, facility expansions and energy efficiency projectsUpgrading and modifying electrical panels, circuit layouts and warehouse systems to meet operational needsCollaborating with engineers and technicians on new equipment installs and system enhancementsWill be required to assist other co-workers on projects and employee functions as needed.Emergency call-ins response to power outages and equipment failures as required

Schedule:
Monday- Friday6:30am- 3:00pm
Compensation:
Starting at $40 per hour

Experience:
Preferred: Three (3) - Seven (7) years of experience as an electricianRequired: E2 LicenseRequired: Ability to read drawings and schematics, utilize a variety of test equipment and work with high voltage (480V) also requiredPreferred: Familiarity with PLC systems, motor controls, VFD's etcPreferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
