About the Role

As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout assigned facilities, focusing on system reliability, safety, and operational continuity in highly regulated spaces. The position plays a key part in keeping critical scientific and production operations running smoothly by maintaining the infrastructure these environments depend on.

This first shift, Monday-Friday role supports a pharmaceutical client by ensuring reliable, compliant, and uninterrupted electrical services across research, laboratory, stability storage, and pilot plant environments.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
  • Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
  • Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate electrical test equipment-including volt/ohm meters, amp probes, power analyzers, and insulation testers-while following established testing procedures and accurately documenting all results.
  • Maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls on complex systems, including HVAC equipment, variable speed controllers, lighting systems, and process equipment.
  • Complete all regulatory training prior to conducting work. Perform all work activities utilizing the appropriate procedures to include GMP/GLP, organizations, department or local requirements. Perform all work utilizing the appropriate environmental regulations and policies. Complete appropriate documentation associated with maintenance activities. Manage individual ITP to ensure compliance.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
