Facilities EngineerLocation: Pineville, NC | On-Site | PermanentCompensation: $110,000 - $135,000 per year, based on experience.Job DetailsResponsibilitiesResponsible for the maintenance and improvement of chemical handling systems and infrastructure.Provide equipment specifications and oversee the procurement and installation of new equipment.Handle hazardous chemicals, ensuring their safe storage, usage, and disposal in compliance with relevant regulations.Utilize strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and support physical plant/process equipment.Independently manage and own projects/processes within a plant environment, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.Work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering, contractors/vendors, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.Regularly inspect facilities and systems to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.Experience working directly with hazardous chemicals, chemical handling systems, wastewater/process utilities, or chemical/process infrastructure is preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.Proven experience managing projects/processes independently within a plant environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.BenefitsGenerous 401(k) Retirement Plan.Great Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans.Tuition Reimbursement Program.Employee Recognition Programs.Employee PV Panel Purchase Program.Aggressive time off plans.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
