Under limited supervision and with independent judgment, supervises and coordinates the activities relating to the infrastructure of company property, by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Building Automation & Controls

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).

Automation Optimization

  • Assist with implementation of occupancy-based controls, lighting automation, scheduling, and demand management programs.

Facility Operations Support

  • Respond to building service calls and emergency situations involving electrical or control systems.

  • Maintain, install, and repair power and lighting equipment.

  • Implement and support a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.

  • Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required.

  • Functions as a team leader, either directly or through leadership, including but not limited to:

  • Recommends and communicates goals. Directs operations to ensure the achievement of required results.

  • Develops, recommends and implements operational plans and procedures.

  • Trains, coaches and leads staff.

  • May serve as a contributing member of project team(s), or leader of project team(s), coordinating resources to ensure achievement of project activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent electrical certification preferred.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Direct Digital Controls (DDC), or Energy Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, motors, control circuits, and HVAC controls.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and control drawings.
  • Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, or Trane Tracer systems.

A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
