Description
Job Summary:
Maintains building/facilities by making basic repairs and performing basic preventative maintenance tasks throughout the casino. Assists upper-level personnel in a variety of trade disciplines including but not be limited to landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical.
Shift Availability:
Grave Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain landscaped areas in a well-groomed manner.
Perform preventative maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis.
Assist Engineer II, III & IV as needed.
Handle routine calls, prioritized by guest service needs.
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
6 months in maintenance or equivalent
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Must have a valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures, and various hand tools.
Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Casino's insurance policy.
Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
Must be able to utilize ladders of various heights
Must occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
